I have a 04.5 and there are two things that make me think I have injector problems...There is some injector rattle and when it idles for a while it smells really bad of raw fuel. Has anyone heard of these problems before and if so how are they a pretty good indicator of bad injectors? The second thing i'm wondering is what is the best way to test them? My cousin had me order a ppe xcelorator so I could test pressures, and it will be fun to have.

90,000 miles and I found out there is no tuner you can test presures on a cummins.

 

does it idle funny ?
