Default NO TURBO!!!!!!!!!!!

ok guys i got some bad news, well yesterday i was driving to work from school yesterday and my truck just acted like it died and then came right back on butt when my turbo spooled it made a horrible screeching sound soo i pulled over and took of my intake off to check my turbo wheel and the nut that goes on the shaft was gone and my compressor wheel was totaly effed needless to say i drove it a couple miles home and took the intake back off and when i took the filter off the intake the nut and a piece of the shaft for my turbo and some metal shavings fell out soo i took the housing off and tried to get the compressor wheel off and its stuck on whats left of the shaft my truck will run great *** long as i dont let my waste gate open i drove like 5 miles an hour all the way home i dont think any shvings got in my engine or anything like that it runs fine butt i have no means of transportation i am a full time student i go to school 5 days a week work 6 and have a hunt to take every morning and most nights i need help i dont have the cash to buy a new one and idk what to do really any advice would be great thanks again guys

try to find a good turbo thats about all you can do, id advise against driving it anymore or running it cuz then you do run the risk of serious engine damage then youll be worse off. Pushin it that last little bit home dont help fix things either, when my turbo let loose i shut er down right away and all the turbo stayed in the compressor housng instead of finding there way in the engine.

right i know i shouldnt of taken her home butt i had no other way im not driving her at all now its just i didnt have anyone that could help me get home you know any place to look for a good turbo

put out a parts request on the forum. thats always worked out for me. im sure you can find a stock replacement just to get you by for now at a cheap price.

there are a lot of guys on here that have old stock parts laying around and luckily your in a place where there are a lot of helpful people. like rusty 89 said put up a request and then you can call around to all your local junk yards and possibly find one cheap

throw an hx35 on it while you at it you can normally find decent used ones in the 200 dollar range. might as well upgrade if its going to cost the same amount

ok awesome thanks for all the help im goin to try and talk to bbd and get his h1c unless i do find a good hx35 somewhere
