i know theres threads on here about it but i cant find them so wat gear fluid do i need to get and how much for a nv4500 4x4

 

search nv4500 fluid or gear oil. lots to read about. you supposed to use the syntourq, and i dunno how many quarts. seems like 4 or 5 but check me on that, also a little extra isn't gonna hurt here. also, lots of guys have luck using other fluids like royal purple, castrol, and penzoil. so read a little bit and see which route your gonna take.

how much for a gallon and wat about transfer case

 

GL-4 only for NV4500. Gallon to fill, 5 quarts won't hurt it. T-case doesn't really matter as long as its full.

As for tcase, use ATF.

 

I use amsoil and overfill by a quart. Quiets it down quite a bit.
