Fuel shutoff solenoid isn't working. If you do a search in the 12V forum, you will find instructions on how to make your own kill system with a choke cable...

x3 on the solenoid. try taking the rubber boot off and cleaning it up, maybe it's got gunk in there. put the boot back of course after your done. there is the option of the cable like blazier said, or i think you can pick up a new solenoid but a little pricey
i have had it a year and it just started it today and i have had problems all day. this weekend i replaced the batteries and it wouldnt start. it finally started yesterday and all day it wouldnt run over 50 and i couldnt use fifth gear and i have to use granny gear to take off now and i cleaned the fuel heater screen and about to change fuel filter. it is still hard to start and it stopped smoking and now it doesnt wanna kill the motor even if i unplug both batteries it didnt shut off so i pulled fuse for injector pump and it didnt die and it doesnt have a turbo timer yet
99% of the time the solenoid is OK, if not it will be obvious, burnt looking or other damage.
They do get sticky, but they are very simple to remove, clean and replace. Just a plunger and a spring, can't go wrong. Turn on the key when re-installing. That will hold it together.
Just reach down there and push it down, for now.
It's the relay more often, on the firewall next to the brake booster. There's 2 side by side, one's for the grid heaters, or fuel heater, I always forget.
Next possible problem is the (blue?) wire at the battery. The connection gets dirty/loose, but those usually cause a no start.
