Dads '95 2wd 5spd 12Vjust started acting up. It rolled 280k a little while back. I haven't driven it, but he says that it starts up like normal or a little slow and as he drives it it'll gradually lose power until it dies. When he tries to start it again it takes around 30 secs of turning it over to get it to fire. Then once it's going it's fine. He says that there are no fuel leaks, the fuel return line under the intake going to the tank has been replaced, and he's already checked inside the tank and its good and clean. Any ideas? It's his daily commuter/hauler so all advice is welcome.

 

he might have problems in the tank (suction) plugged up
