I have a 1991 W250 with a loose drivers side window regulator. The window tends to unroll itself as I drive, and quicker if I hit some bumps in the road, . I`m constantly rolling the window back up.

The wrecker tells me that the years for these regulators are 1989 to 1994 specifically. Can`t find used, don`t wanna buy new if I can *tighten* the old one first.

Haven`t had it apart yet.......... What exactly causes it to be loose? Know of a way to tighten it up?
