Default glow plug relay

What are the signs of a glow plug relay or glow plugs going bad?

cant get the wiring harness, have to make your own. your relay is most likly fine. it it just the plugs that are faulty. they are around 10 dollars a peice. DO NOT GET AC DELCO, CHAMPIONS, OR BOSCH! only use International, Motorcraft or Buer glow plugs. i belive u can get motorcraft plugs at adanced and autozone. u want part number ZD9 for motorcrafts.

I'd start with just replacing the glow plugs as the controllers on the 7.3 aren't prone to failure. Bad glow plugs will cause the fast clicking as the increased resistance will make the controller think they are fully heated up.

Pulled Autolite and Champion gp's out of mine and replaced them with Motorcraft's that I got at O'Reilly for about 11 and some change each. FYI: Talked to Oregon Fuel Injection about the BB code injectors being on back order and the said that they are shipping mine on monday so, apparently they finally got them in stock again. Pass that info around.
