Default Timing knock and won't start

I bought a 03 CR and it has what sounds to be a timing knock under light and medium throttle and then when I start to get on the highway the noise will stop and the motor sounds good. It also won't start with out some starting fluid. But once the truck is started it runs great except for the "timing knock". I put the scanner on it and it shows the fuel pressure at 403psi while im cranking on it but no start. I have also put a FCA on it today and no luck. When I spray some starting fluid in it it will start and idle but the fuel pressure is at 3900-4200 psi and from what the scanner says it should be at 5300 psi. I have done some searching but I can't really find to much on this. The truck has 143k on it and its all stock. If someone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

***It has no codes***

Thanks
Randall

Injector no bueno. Sorry buddy.

Randal,

Get yourself a spare common rail injector line and cut the line about two inches long and get a pair of pliers and role the line back on it'self a couple times and then smash it down with a vice or a hammer. use that as a cap and go down the rail and test each hole until the truck starts normal. That will be the dead injector

Ok Vinny, I put the injectors in and it has a small miss at idle and it also has the timing knock as before. What else could this be?
