smoke

out of nowhere my truck started dumping grayish white smoke instead of thick black smoke like it usually does. what would cause this and what is the greyish white smoke from?

Couple of things. Could be oil or coolant going through the engine or turbo.
Dose it smoke at idle? Or only when your hard on the throttle?

it smokes at idle when i first start it untill it warms up. maybe i still have some oil in my cooler and exhaust pipe from when my turbo went out?

could be, could also be that your timing slipped, does it still perform the same?

to me it doesnt seem like it has as much go as what i think it should but it. but it has as much go as a buddys stock 96 auto with his stock plate ff
