tow mirrors... i know i know
i hate to make another thread about this but i have a simple question. about to order the mirrors and i know i need the brackets. could i just fab up some light sheet metal ad make my own. from the pictures i don't see why and it'd save me about $40 bucks.
Because if you dont put the support brackets on the mirrors will sway all over the place and will end up breaking. If you can fab something up; why not? But I'd spend the money and get the oem mounts and make sure it's done correctly. But thats just me.
i spent the money on the mounts. the brackets are pressed into a shape that allows the studs from the mirros to actually go thru the bracket for the nuts. i dont know if you got the spider mirrors right now but if you do, good luck filling the holes. its been a pain in the a** for me
they r the same from 94-01 i believe it is. as stated above without the bracket they wont have the support they need and will viberate around while driving. i would get the brackets or fab one up
