Hey guys, first of all id like to apologize for my English, and secondary I cannot understand WTF is going on, truck started falling a part

My truck is 05 F-250 Harley 6.0, 62k on the clock, no mods except edge +120bhp, ARB lockers front and rear, all filters and oil (Mobil 1 5w40) changed every 6k.

My problems with a truck
1) engine misfiring for 10 or 15 min, til gets warm
(diagnostics has shown injectors 1,7,5,4,3 work not correctly)

2) blowing out white smoke and losing coolant out of degas bottle
( I think that it is oil and egr coollers, or нead gaskets)

Hear in Moscow very difficult to diagnose US truck because they no officially imported in Russia, my is the first Harley in rus and I have to wait for 2-3 months for any parts from US so I have no right for mistake.

This is what im thinking to do, to solve my problems for a long time

Delete oil cooler
Bullet Proof Oil Cooler System, 2005-2007 F-Series, Condenser Mount

Delete EGR
BulletProof EGR Delete, Square
maybe
Cobb's Diesel Performance # CDP60EGRD - EGR Cooler Delete Kit w/ Up-pipe

Head Studs

I have found only the most important spare parts, but I don't have even repair manual, so i don't know that else is required to remove heads and to spend a complete repair......

I will be grateful for any help, to make a right choice, any references to service and repair instructions can help me!

problem 1 is hard to say. maybe the ficm messin up with that many injectors showin bad, but not sayin thats what it is.
problem 2 sounds like its probably the egr is messin up.

Ficm have been checked up, i had the spare one, all is excellent....
I think that it is air in fuel, that is why injectors have broken

Have made the pressure test upon cooling system, i think that both coolers aren't serviceable

I agree, FICM is probably the issue, usually is when injectors start going crazy like that. It usually will fail on one bank, thus the 1,3,5,7 injectors. It is possible the injectors themselves are bad, you would need to do a cylinder contribution test to find out though, and that may be difficult from what you're telling us. You say air in fuel, how would that have happened? Have you changed the injectors recently?

Your list of stuff you want to get is good, but I would change 2 things. Forget the Airdog 100, get the Airdog 2 165. It has an adjustable regulator and completely replaces the stock setup. The airdog 1 does not. It's a pusher pump that feeds the stock pump. I would also NOT get the Banks intake. I would get AFE personally, I think the Banks is a nice unit, but overpriced. That is up to you though.

I would also get rid of the EDGE, and get an SCT and get custom tunes from one of the reputable shops here in USA. Eric @ Innovative Diesel is one of the best. Your transmission will thank you.

Also so you know, the 6.0 only has one EGR cooler. It does also have an oil cooler, but only one of each. The 6.4 has two EGR coolers (a low temp and a high temp system).

If you do headgaskets and headstuds, make sure to get the heads pressure checked and decked before reassmbly, or you will have the same issues again. Try to find a good machine shop.

I also wonder what the quality of fuel is where you live? This could lead to injectors crapping out. How often do you change the fuel filters?

I wouldn't suggest doing the oil cooler system, Just replace the oil cooler when you do your EGR delete

with those external mount systems (unless they've been updated and i don't know) don't have a thermostat to warm and cool the oil properly, He/She lives in Moscow, which i believe gets pretty cold which would make the oil run TOO cold i believe. Also with all the extra room in the oil system i've heard lots of problems with not building oil pressure fast enough and causing hard/ no starts. i haven't read up on this in a few months so my memory might be a little fuzzy but i'm pretty sure those were some problems mentioned. i know they weren't recommended for people that live in cold places. if i can find the thread i'll post a link to it

Who's system was that with? Yeah if you could find the info I'd like to read into it.

Well, has finished diagnostics, I hade to buy programs for the Ford dealer……

1) cylinder contribution нas shown that 1,3,5,7 injectors bad

2) diagnostics shown that antifreeze temperature is 84С and oil is 89C, therefore I think both coolers bad (both I meant oil cooler and EGR cooler)

3) found that the generator overcharging batteries (18V), so I replace the generator and batteries

4) has checked up FICM has shown 48V

5) made heads test (video has found on BulletProofDiesel http://www.bulletproofdiesel.com/Articles.asp?ID=270) it shown that heads gaskets have blown ((((((((((((
I don't know on how many millimeters it is possible to smooth heads if they curves!?



forgot to tell....
It not a problem to install thermostat on bullet proof oil cooler kit, нere in russia the thermostat is very necessary, in the summer +45C and in the winter sometimes -40C

It is difficult to install 38S Boggers on Land Rover Defender, but thermostat whale easily!))))))))))))
