gears I.D.

how would i go about telling what gears i have in the front and rear diffs this would be of good help to me thanks for any info

theres a couple diff. ways. they sometimes have it marked under the hood, or on the door jam, and somtimes there will be a tag on the rear axel stating. also u can go by how many rpms ur turning at what speed

or if worse comes to worse they are stamp on the ring and pinion, u would have to pull the cover and roll the ring around untill u find the markings
