So i just put a 4000 rpm governing spring in my truck and after i did it seemed to start developing problems. it cuts out at high rpm and leaks out the vent by the AFC. and now when it gets to running temp it sounds like its gunna put a rod through the block. i dont know if its timing or what so if anyone has some input it would be very helpful!!

 

do you have an aftermarket lift pump? did you put HD valve springs in it?

Fuel in the AFC means the guide pin needs a new o-ring. Prolly pooched it while you had it apart somehow.

 

No I dont have HD springs or a upgraded lift pump but the lift pump i have now is pretty new. and when i realized it was leaking i went and replaced the little o ring on the fuel pin and it still leaks just not as bad...
