Default rough idle

If the truck is cold it idles smooth, but after the drive home or if I rev it high after it's warmed up the thing feels like its missing. Doesn't matter if its in park or or in gear. Any ideas as to what's up?

Ill add that its not smoking at all. I guess a better description would be that it sounds like its suddenly had a bigger cam put in.

Check your valve lashes. Sounds like they're out of adjustment to me. How many miles on the truck? Ever had valve adjustment?

Its gonna be a while before I have the time to pull the covers and set the valves. I read around a little more and someone had suggested that the LP was a culprit, but after checking it out it doesn't seem to be the issue either. Any other ideas guys?

I replaced the overflow valve and it solved my idle problem. It also fixed a cold start miss that it's always had. Fixed two problems with one little $43 bolt..not bad at all
