so i had the dreaded non locking torque converter and did some research well i found a test to test the signal to the tcc solenoid it was good but no codes so i figured that the tcc solenoid was bad but when i swapped it out for a new one well now its throwing the p0173 i think the code is short in the tcc circuit so i hooked back up the the test light and im still getting a good signal but i also checked the tcc solenoid i repolaced tested good when i brought it out i was wondering if maybe the valve body could have a potential problem or maybe the torque converter its self if anyone could give me some advice or could lend me some support i would gladly appreciate it. thank you in advance

just a shot but pull the pan back down and see if you accidently pintched the tcc solenoid wiring in between the vb and filter screw.
just a thought.
