cold engine protection on edge juice w att
Is this really needed? I ran with it on for a long time and just recently turned it back off. I was just curious if its a good idea to turn it back on or if its not really needed. I don't have a 53 block before anyone asks
I leave mine on all the time. I think it is a good idea, just an extra safety just in case. If you ALWAYS turn the Edge down, and don't hot foot it ever, then no, it is not needed.
I let the engine warm up normally before I do anything more than 1/4 throttle, I drive like a grandma and then once the needle goes above 140 by about a cm or two I start driving normal
i never had mine on when i had the edge. but i never go over 1500 rpms untill my motor has warmed up to full temp and the thermostat has cycled a few times. you should never get on a cummins hard while not up to temp. big big problems
