Default truck wont start after fuel filter change?

ok on the 24 valves to prime the system you are expose to be a able wirle your starter over and your lift pump would run for 25 seconds but i cant hear mine so i dont know if my lift pump is not running or do i have an electrical problem. before i replaced my fuel filter i had 15 psi at idle. So my lift pump is running. but this might be a problem my wait to start light is messed up half way through the winter it worked fine then after that it would stay on for 20 seconds like it would if it was cold outside but this is when it is 70 degrees, then a couple of weeks ago my batteries got low and maybe allowed to reset everything and then my wait to light worked great. but then the next day whenever i would turn my key on there was no light at all showing on my cluster lights.and from now on when i go to start my truck up their is no wait to start light. need help>

How old are your batteries? I have seen lights burn out in the dash,I think they are a 915 blub.

There is a possibility that it is just the bulb in your dash. Happened to me for my high beam indicator. I doubt that it would hamper starting abilities though.

If your lift pump is running while priming the filter you should see some pressure on your gauge even if its just a little. I have to cycle mine 4-5 times to fill everything and get normal pressure on my gauge.

the stock pumps are kinda hard to hear

might crack the fuel filter houing open and see if it will flow any fuel out of it that way. once u know the fiter is full, id try starting it and see what the fuel pressure gauge reads

have you tried cracking the fuel lines on one or two of your injectors to see if you are getting fuel sometimes when you change the fuel filter you'll get some air in the lines and you got to blead them out
