This might sound dumb but it dont hurt to ask. any one think towin mirrow's from 03-08 would fit a 98-01 cummins?

 

Whats a Mirrow

 

I believe the '03+ trucks have a different mount than earlier models.

Not a chance, totally different mount/plastic exterior piece for the door

 

The bases are different. You'll have to swap the bases from the 2nd gen style mirrors to the third gen mirrors in order to fit them on an 02 or older. Other wise the mirrors are the same. Wiring is a little different for the powered heated ones too.

 

By the time u swap the bases you could had bought the right style and been done with it

 

^ true. and since you can find a set of power heated ones for less than 300, Its a no brainer.

Auctually in 2002 they used the same Flip up style just google it brother they have them for are body style trucks
