Default Estimated HP ?

Ok, i don't know if my truck came with a tuning from the dealer that originally sold it, but it's listed as a 230hp in the registration placard....

So far the wastegate has been plugged, removed the silencer ring (not sure if it changes anything but the sound) and free flowing 3" exhaust...

If i mod my fuel plate to #100 or #10 ? what do i get ?

How do get my turbo to light sooner, do i have to crank the wheel ?

Removing the silencer ring doesn't do anything but make more noise.
3" exhaust isn't going to do much either. 4" minimum. Remember, adding fuel to your 12 valve is the easy part. Cool air in and hot air out is critical for being able to use that fuel effectively.
Slide your AFC housing full forward, this will help it spool sooner, but won't really add any power.
Plugging the wastegate doesn't do anything SOP in my opinion.
Carving your stock plate to a 100 will help significantly, how much HP you make from that depends on so many other things.
You will have to adjust your star wheel to a level of smoke you can tolerate, but it will also help with spool time. Adjust it out/in to the sweet spot you like. I've found this also can affect mpg. It takes a lot of trial/error to get it where you like it.
Good luck with it!

The only thing blocking your WG is doing is setting you up to blow that turbo to smitherines.

A 100plate, with the afc and plate slid forward and some tuning combined with an intake and exhaust will prolly be around 350-380hp and 700-800lbs of tq with the 5spd.

You guys been smoking wayyyy too much crack if you think a plate/intake/exhaust/tuned afc will only give you 25hp. Way too much crack.

Since my truck came stock with 215hp, and you figured it would make 240 hp, thats about a 25hp difference

the orginal poster has a 95 which is the 160 or 180 pump depending on auto or manual i believe, and i know a #100 gives you ROUGHLY 100hp depending on where its positioned and what not and if you have enough air for all the fuel, so i would say the 250-280hp range is a safe area to suggest, just my 2cents

he has a 5spd.. which means he has a 175pump and 420tq. With an intake, exhaust and some good afc tuning, he can def. be in the 3-350hp range.
