p-pump or monster vp
ok i daily drive my truck. i tow every now and then and its mostly light stuff occasionally a heavy one but not often. i pull my jet ski in the summer and i plow snow in the winter with my truck. my vp went out and i replaced it with a reman bosch pump. well to get to my point eventually i want my truck built and i want somethin that i can continue to do these things with so would it be better to p-pump my 24valve or monster pump. eventually i want it to be built to be a puller and drag racer but now i need to dd it. im not replacing anything else with factory/stock parts from now on everything will be upgraded. the only reason i didnt do it before is i didnt have the extra cash. so any help would be appreciated and sorry for the long post.
i heard the lope and thats why i want a monster but ive read on here and heard before the p-pump 24valve is a amazing set-up so i wanted uns input

i think the p-pump would better if your planning on messing with the plate alot between the tractor pulls and daily driving. im lookin at upgrading mine but idk if i want the monster because of the lope. im thinking a hot rod, or industerial injection because the lope is lighter. if yours is an automatic i wouldnt recomend the monster. because if your in drive and are holding the brake, ive heard of the truck dying because of the lope. But i was also debating on the p-pump, i just dont know if i want to mess with the plate that much, and i dont know about my super chip working with it.
what do you mean the super chip working with it?? are you talking about messing with the fuel plate?? it would take less than a half hour to move the plate back and forth.
idk what a monster pump cost but i know the worst p-pump is better than the best vp pump and imo the p-pump would be alot better for pulling and drag racing

For now while your dd it leave the stock so pump on it. Buy the parts for a ppump conversion and when your not going to be using it for towing and dd do it. Changing the timing on the ppump takes time, not a push of the button. Your almost better off to build a 12v and drop it in. The power is easier to make with better designed injectors. I don't know how reliable to monster pumps are, as they used to be hit and miss. Just a lot of money on something, and from what I read the guy is hard to get a hold of. I would go with a hrvp over a monster. I can give info in a few months on the II new pump I know a guy putting one on.
