Default oik leak from injection pump/afc housing

has anyone ever had a leak from the afc gasket? i wanted to post a thread on it because after a brief google search i found that alot of people have this leak and cant find it.

it seems like there is oil coming from behind the shut down solenoid on the pump but you just cant seem to find it. well after 6 hours of searching and searching and pressure washing, i found the leak finally!

here is the gasket under the afc thats leaking:

i just got my pump back a week ago from industrial injection you would think thatd something they wouldve found on a bench it was by no means a little leak.

so if you have this problem and cant find it maybe someday this may help somebody out.

anyone know where i can get a new one of these gaskets?

the afc gasket is available at our shop,Huckstorf Diesel in Franklin WI,call me at 414 421 7222,by the way when these pumps are tested on the stand there is no oil pressure in the pump,so if the gasket was faulty it will not show, untill there is engine oil psi supplied.

i already got a new gasket and that wasnt the problem it leaking between the governor housing and the case and bleeding up to the afc housing makng me think thats where it was coming from.

just got back form industrial injection last week being checked out to make sure it was a 100% usable pump and it POURS oil out the side of the pump come operating temperature.

it is my 3rd transaction with them and the 3rd set of major problems ive hit, i will no longer be doing any more business with industrial injection anymore.
