Question Improving what I have?

I got an 01' 24v non- commonrail with the following mods. 300hp Bosch injectors, ATS Exhaust manifold, ATS high arc, K&N cold air, FASS 95, Edge Juice, lifted 5.5" sitting on 35" Nitto Terra Grapplers......

I have been playing with some performance testing on a flat stretch of road seeing if my truck is running or falling down. 0-60 times started at 10.5, ending at 10.0 flat. 1/4 mile<non drapstrip> 17.8 at 78, and 18.0 at 77mph. I was told to set on 5 <extreme> and tap twice to set the defueling, and don't notice a change, as well as the truck seems to stutter when floored. What should the defueling be set to? IS there something else I should be setting the Edge to make it run better? What's causing the stutter in acceleration? Also, what's the chances of turning 350-375 on the dyno with no other mods, to include still using a stock tranny?

Sounds like you have more than enough fuel id say get twins and studs and you should dyno at least 500 at the wheels. Look at my sig and look at my dyno numbers that should give you an idea.

they are not 300hp over stock injectors the are like the rv 275's total hp of the motor so it should make 300hp at the crank. I would say you have a good chance of making 350 plus at the wheels. I made 340 at the wheels with some 275's and an edge juice. How long have you had the truck? It sounds like you may have a good chance it has a super chip or hypertech still in the factory computer causing problems.

Ive had the truck about a cpl yrs now, and it was bone stock when i bought it. at first i added a hypertech, but bought the edge and removed the hypertech, ive often wondered if ever completely removed or not. what would happen if i stacked it on with the edge? i see smarty's and edge's together all the time, whats the difference with a hypertech? also, when you double tap the menu button on the edge to set the valve defueling thing<hope I am doing that right> what do you set it at? I see 0-20 i think that I can set it on. thanks guys

That shutter could be converter shutter in the trans if it is stock they seem to not like a whole lot of power all at once.Or the trans is slipping also,2nd gear is always a problem with the stock trans.

upgrade the trans and get some more air... the HY does not perform well above 280-300HP
