Default P pump or twins??

Well i have 99 ctd im trying to make my mind up if i should p pump it or put twins on it??? i would love to hear what everyone has to say about both. i dont tow just daily drive as of now but wont be in a couple months and maybe sled pull 4 or 5 times a year. (or what should i do with around 3 grand to my truck?)

Where you pull do they allow twins?

If it were me I would P pump it ... but I also hooked on sled pulling

most places i will pull have no classes other then street and open with most people pull in both but ya the class thing if i had twins i would be in like an open class right?

thats right, most all pulls arround where I'm at are single turbo classes.

Before you make up your mind you should read the rules and see if you can run twins or not.

ive been leaning toward the p pump but ive been told i can wont be able to daily drive at all

i other thing is if im deep in the motor i will want to do a cam and studs and injectors and bla bla bla and im not sure how much just to p pump it will be, i can buy a 96 12v 4x4 cummins what has a new pump on it for 2grand just dont know what i should do

why could you not DD a pump truck?

i have seen quite a few that are DD's

I would get the 12v. A ppump conversion is not the best for power etc. Drop the complete 12v in your truck and you can get a lot more power out of it.

really? drop the 12v in my truck? if i was going to do that maybe i will just buy the 12v and start a new build, maybe a pulling truck only?? and keep my 24v as a driver.

thats what id do if it was me. that way if ya broke, u would still have a truck to take to work.
