This is probably one of the BIG issues, PO 121 TPS SENSOR A RANGE/PERF PROBLEM.
I had my custom high idle get wet from the car wash, and it wouldn't go under 1200 RPM until I dried it out. Check the wires to the sensor, could be the sensor itself.

i have checked the wires to it and it was just reving by itself a little at first then it started to reving higher and higher. i was just hoping it aint the computer that is bad
i changed out the computer in my truck still revs itself and
it is like the truck has a memory of its own and it revs by itself idk if it is the injection pump or what idk what else to try..

i unpluged the apps and the truck stopped reving high but when the apps is unpluged it is like it doesnt know were to idle so there is a lope to it then

After you reconnect the batteries, turn the ignition on but do not start. Slowly depress te accelerator pedal all the way to th floor, and then back up to normal resting position. This should reset your APPS.
