Default Hamilton 110lb valve springs

Anyone ran them? They say they are good to 4500 rpm!!!!! Just wondering about them

I know alot of guy's with Zach's springs. Anything sold with the Hamilton name on it is top notch. I run his cam and will end up selling my current springs some day and running his 110# springs and big pushrod's.

I have Zach,s springs and push rods.
I have been 4000 no problems.

I would like others input on this as well because I cant decide between #60 and #100 valve springs, I know my VP will never push the rpms to need the #100ers. But I also am planning on doing a cam. Please let me let me know if you have any input. Thanks

Yeah my truck will never run 4500 rpm but the last dyno i hit almost 3600rpm and think that alittle much for stocker springs

Formula 1 HELIX Three Camshaft: The best camshaft for the Nitrous assisted and maximum effort Diesel only twin turbo applications. The H3 grind is specifically for the maximum top end power output and airflow improvements. Lift and duration is higher than the Helix 2 on both the intake and exhaust sides. Upgraded valve springs are not a choice. Coil bind up of the stock valve springs will occur even before the cam comes to complete lift. The H3 will lower the maximum exhaust gas temperatures and smoke output tremendously. Nitrous users will see they now need half the nitrous they used previously to obtain the same power output. This cam was used for lasts year sled pulling season in Ray Gullets Street Diesel pulling truck. Ray placed 2nd in the overall year after nearly 15 events and won first place in the Mooreland Indiana pull. Doug Smith recently dyno tested at 832 rear wheel HP using the H3 camshaft. This truck is the highest HP 24 Valve truck on the road to date with much more to come in the near future. Like the H2, the H3 has the lobe to use the mechanical fuel pump for a bullet proof low pressure fuel delivery system and is ground from a brand new casting. Not a regrind. Press-on and press-on/bolted-on gears are available in the H3 grind. Bolted on gears are highly recommended for the H3 cam system and in the 12 valve Helix camshafts are only ground on the bolt-on gear blanks.

RPM range of the Helix 3 is 1500 to 5000 RPM. In the 24 Valve application it pulls hard past 3500 RPM.

Stock 24v springs allow the intake valve to blow open at 52psi on the bench, 60lb 12v springs at 34psi. This is a major problem and it is intensified as temperatures and rpm increase.

24 valve springs are designed to work with your factory retainers and locks, and have a Beehive design to reduce mass on the end with most linear motion. They also help increase initial acceleration of the valve. They are made with the highest quality ovate wire to handle cams with higher lift. They coil bind .111” after the stock springs, and have been triple shot-peened and nitrided to reduce internal stresses, prolong life and prevent corrosion.

I was just searching valve spring upgrades and came across this. It sure would make sense why my boost gauge flutters between 48-57 psi. I assume with heavier valve springs, like 110lb, upgraded push rods and keepers would be a good idea?

I will be pulling my 110lb valve springs and titanium retainers because my truck is back stock.
