well i am new to 5.9 cummins bought my first one 2005 3500, seems when it revs down it stalls or more or less goes da da da da da not smooth? and i have just noticed a wierd not to say knock but little louder tick when running down the road. truck has 96,3xx on it no mods that i know of. also was wondering on the warrenty and how it works with the 100,000 mile deal. if you have to be the original owner or if it has under a 100 anyone can take it in?? thanks guys any help would be great! i am thinking injectors if i was to start guessing.

 

Yup injectors and DON'T GO OVER 100K Go directly to the dealer it's covered!!

 

U can rule out the fca cause I swapped it and still does it on mine. So unfortunatly it must be the injectors.

 

ended up being two injectors. seem to fix the rough idle down back to normal there but i am still hearing that slight hammer when it warms up **** me off. i have two more injectors that are on there way out. so if any one took theres out to put in bigger ones or something i may be intrested in them
