The other day i snapped/stripped 6th gear in my truck.. i was wondering if there are any real worthwhile upgrades to do to this thing.. or is it just gonna keep breaking on me?? I can't afford a full build but maybe some cheap tricks or something??

 

as far as i know there isnt any after market upgrades to go in the trans. here is a bump so maybe someone else can help you out with better details on it. sorry to hear ya broke it, good luck with the fix

 

They dont make the NV5600 anymore and stock parts are scarce, and I highly doubt your going to find aftermarket ones unless you have them custom made.

 

I have never had any problems finding stock replacements.. Mine is a 4500 i'm pretty sure..

 

You have the 5600. The NV 4500s are 5 spds
