Default Garrett Turbo Surge

I'm running a Garrett 3788 stage 3 turbo with 100 hp sticks. Garrett is a 63.5/73.5/14. When towing and in 6th gear I'm getting a surge out of it, it will hit about 30psi of boost then it will shutter and jump up and down and won't keep spooling up, that is with the comp box on. With comp box off it pretty well works, but in 6th gear it wont light up , hits bout 18psi of boost and thats it. I have the wastegate unhooked and when running empty it works great and I can hit 49psi of boost in a hurry. Oh and I have towed with it before and seemed to do pretty good, the only thing I changed since then was that I put .093 lines on it, not sure if that means anything. Any ideas on why I'm getting this surge and shutter with my turbo???

Its the bigger lines .093,that are making it surge.I want to said that with the edge on it aggravates it.Could be the wastegate.

Well I just got done hooking the wastegate back up on it and now it runs great, but only hit about 39psi max on boost, and it also gets hot alot quicker I think before the turbo was just getting on top of itself, pushing in more than it could get out. Its kinda hard for me to explain exactly what it was doing but I believe thats what was going on. Need to find more ways to cool it down tho

Awful tempting if you wanna feed the ice to it buddy! Anybody have any suggestions on what I can do to get cooler egts? If i have my foot in it I will hit 13-1400 by the time i'm goin 65! Does doing away with the grid heater help much? Or what about a bigger intercooler?
