so i was drivin home tonite and my truck started to i guess you would say surge power my foot was steady on the pedal goin bout 55 and it would speed up and slow down like 3 times then quit. it did this twice any idea on what the problem is?

 

did it throw any codes? Service engine light come on? could be your TPS throttle position sensor?

 

no codes thrown like i said it did it twice then fine then a little while later it did it again and then it was fine

 

is this yer 91 or 99??????????

if its the 99 then

reset the APPS

turn key on
slowly push acelerator pedel to floor
slowly let back up
turn key off

yer APPS is now recalibrated
