turbo and intercooler Q

Hey guys, can anyone tell me what kind of turbo and what size (a pic would be great) came on 1994 12v's? and anyone got an idea of what size intercooler(dimensions, air flow #'s)?? thanks, and im new here!

welcome to diesel bombers and all i got so far if your turbo is stock is that its an hx35 with a 12 cm exhaust and a 54 mm compressor

It's a 94 so it should be a WH1C.

it could be either some late 94's had the hx35's

If I remember right the wh1c has the 54mm compressor and the hx35 has the 56mm.

if the cummins part no is still on the turbo he can look there to and know for sure

It's easier than that wh1c turbos have a v- band clamp that hold the compressor cover on, hx35s have a big snap ring.

mm, anyone know what stock boost #'s were?

I've never drove a stock truck with gauges. 20 sounds about right. It would depend on what charger you had. When I went to and h1c from my hx35 i went from 48lbs to 37lbs flat footed in high gear out side temp 20*.
