Default gallery gasket
well after taking out the pump and putting on a new gasket it still leaks...why and help...maybe the camshaft cover is warped????

Thanks arizona...I am working on a 96 12v...The gallery gasket (camshaft cover) is leaking (located behind the injection pump)..I replaced the gasket and it still leaks..

all of the old gasket was cleaned off correct couldnt see anything left on the block or cover and no small cracks or anything in the cover

yeah no small cracks...just a cracky gasket...i am wondering also if i have to much crankcase pressure

Na its an open crank so there won't be any press on the gasket. Either the cover is bent or there is still part of the old gasket on it.

you still think the cover might be warped take a straight edge and check it and the pressure thing i dont know i dont think so but i dont know
