Default fuel plate

does any one have a step by step on how to do a fuel plate on a 97 ? wanting to do mine this week and the directions it came with are gone ... im sure its not insane to do ... but just need help

ya man decided against using the other one for now .. but lost the instructions the one came with ... how did you guys do the break off screw ... did you have to get another screw ? or did you re use yours ... how did you get it out ? did you have to remove any of the lines above it to get to it ? thats were i have run into most of my problems is geting that screw off

you can just break it off mines not in at all or just file a cut so you can use a flat head to get it out i heard that works

I take a T-25 torx bit and hammer it in the center of it. It will dimple in and you can spin it out.

i just broke mine off then you could use an easy out if ya want. i just left mine out. didnt feel like messing with it. one of my friends has a 97 and the housing only had one bolt in it and it was doing fine.<-- i wouldnt do that though, but im pretty sure three bolts will hold it just fine

you can just use a chisel and hammer and break that collar. how many horses are you pushing cause i got a #8 plate and im scared to put it in i dont want to break anything. i got 3200 springs so idk wat to do.

Three bolts hold it, Thats all I have. just got get in there and snug them down from time to time.
