Default Motor Maintaince

My truck has almost 360,000 on her, just wandering what's some good stuff to go threw and look at and check in the motor after all these miles, thinking of getting the values adjusted/checked and what not just not sure if their's anything else I should look into doing while im working on her.

Thanks

Chris

yeah; deffinately do the valves man. most guys jump right on getting the KDP taken care of and next oil change send a sample in for analysis... that's probably the best way to find out whats going on internally with out tearing it down. at 360,000 she's probably just starting to take the cross hatching off the cylinders . with the proper maintenence these things run for ever bud... also with the next oil change start runin abit of lucas oil stabilizer. it isnt necessary but something i like to do.

this is my 2 cents if its so good then why dont they put it in the oil the oil you buy delo, rotella, castrol, whatever that is forumaulted to a spec by a lot of smart people for a reason (whats best for your motor) take a chalenge and do an SOS scheduled oil sample for 3 oil changes then compare the results if you use an aditive keep it the same for the first to changes then the last with out an aditive sos will tell you everything about what is going on in your motor in the truck shop i work for we can tell when the bearings need to be replaced before they are so far gone and cause other problems this is one of the many things an sos can tell
