Default pump side plug

o.k. just got my 3GSK springs installed. anyone have trouble getting those threads started on the side plug. i have been in one position for the last 25 min and not even a bite.i know it is not rocket science, but **** oh dear i'am getting frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just take ur time, it should screw right in!!

yes i know the righty tighty lefty loosy. just will not start to tread. i saw a few others that have had this problem. going back for more today. one guy posted i took him 2 hours to finally get it to thread. don't want to be that guy,but i aready have 25 min under my belt.

maybe get your hand down there and try to feel of the angle it's at.... make sure that the angles are perfect and it should go.

yeah i have been out there for a hour now and still nothing. never had this much fun starting threads. i have been taking my time trying everything and just does not bite. the treads are pretty shallow on the plug it self. do they make a after market plug with a little more meat on the threads? threads are not messed up. anyone else has this much fun with the pump plug?

put the plug on a short extension then turn the extention bu hand................another thing to try is to slowly turn it counter clockwise till ya feel that thread click then go right

yer holdin yer mouth wrong dude

well whit let me say thanks, as i have tried all of the above. if i can't get a plugs threads started it must be time to hang up the tools. iam so frustrated, never had this much trouble. not sure what to do at this point. get a new plug?
