In the process swaping a '94 12 valve into a 2wd chevy. The engine is complete and has the factory dampner/spped sensor present. My question is can this be used as the drive or pick-up for an aftermarket diesel tachometer??? If not, has anybody done a swap using the factory tach into the donor vehicle?? I know ther are aftermarket crank and alternater pick-ups but for ease I would like to consider these options.
