well i was on my way to town to get some snowmobile parts and the track bar desided to brake. it broke at teh weld on the axle side of the bar. anyone had this happen? wierd thing is i only have a leveling kit for highth and rarely offroad this truck.

 

Never even thought it was possible to break one a these things. Bet he'll replace it once you let him know. Just call and tell him what happened and ask if he has ever had anybody report this happening. Without you even askin I bet he'll offer it. I've talked to him several times through the years about suspension issues, I won't say he's a best buddy type person but he is a wealth of knowledge and has always been willin to share it.

When i told him I had over 100,000 on his bar and had never rebuilt it and that it was still tight so i couldn't afford to just throw parts at it he sent me the rebuild kit on his dime.

 

thanks uncle bubba i have less than 15k miles on this bar less than a year, lucky it didnt happen on the freeway, i wonder if he will awnser on a saturday

 

got the new tube in the mail today, very excelent customer service. no cost except next day air

 

Glad to hear this. I really was hopin that would be the case as many times as I have recommended these things.

 

how do these work on lifted trucks? i have a 6inch long arm rcd lift, and i still use a stock track bar, but i snaped the part they include with the lift to lower the mounting part of the track bar. i need to get this fixed

 

i dont see why it would be an issue
