what year the 215 injectors start?

Default what year the 215 injectors start?

what are the years the injectors changed in each truck? if i put injectors out of a 97 in my 94 whats the power difference?

The injectors are the same. The difference is in the pump.

96 is when 215 motors started in 5 speed trucks they are 5x.010s 180 motors have 5x.0095 160 motors are 5x.009

so would putting 215 injectors into a 180 do anything or not worth it

What he said.... I knew the 215 started in 96 but did not know the injectors were diff. Huh learn something new everyday.

Thanks for the correction.

So yes the inj from a 97 would make a diff. Not sure how much of a diff but ya never know till ya try.

they work good if youo want to make a little more power to pull trailers a or screw around with out a bunch of money in inejectors

i would say it would make a difference.its a bigger opening for the fuel to go through. even when you buy upgraded injectors your only talking about a couple thousandths of an inch. so even though its only 5 ten thousandths of an inch it should make a differnce, maybe not a big one or even a really noticable difference, but one none the less. hey it might even lower your egts a bit

any one have a set or know of any one? i have some pensacola stage two injectors but they are the wrong spray pattern so the smoke more and a lil higher egts

Penn Stage 2s are 4X0.012 you will go down a little in power but will make up for it in MPG and they will start/idle better. I was thinking 215s were 5X0.095...

Let me do some research

i would send ya mine but if the ones you have to trade have higher egts then i cant do it. im having trouble with my egts right now. let me see what i can do around here and ill get back to ya.
