well my turbo wasnt working right after i rebuilt it so i thought maybe a had the nut too tight took the intake tube off and the wheel has hit the housing really hard and has both pretty well chewed up guess i need to start thinking about another charger

when you rebuilt it did you check barring clearances? and you did lube them up good before you started the truck?

sounds like you thrust barring is shot

i lubed everything real well. how could i check the clearances?

 

there should be a spec for it ... to check you use a plastic gauge ( little strip that you crush in the cap) that tells you the clearance.
