Default KDP

getting ready to do my kdp in the next few days. got my kit from cummins for 72.00. one question would be, as far as tools go. is do i need a gear puller to remove the harmonic balancer or does it just come right off? want to make sure i got everything so no extra trips to the store! anyone know the torque specks on the balancer bolts?

92 ft-lbs. And no puller needed.

I had my KDP fall out on my old 96 dodge. Cracked the front cover pretty bad. Im glad to hear that your gettin yours tabbed.. my balancer came right off also. I didnt buy a kit though, I made a tab out of a thin piece of steel. Good luck!

You can get the balancer off with out a puller - but you will need a puller to get your timing gear off - this is a very good time to adjust your timing if you have never done it. I would bet my last dollar that its slipped from the factory.
