i know the headlight switch is a recall item for our trucks, but i didnt find out til after i replaced it the 1st time.... the last time it went bad, the plastic plug got melted and i had to take it off (break it apart) and connect each wire individually and wrapped them in tape. now the new switch is goin bad and i was wonderin if the stealership would still do the recall work even with the plug gone? i did what i had to do to get it back on the road

 

Doubtful....
But anything is possible,nothing ventured nothing gained.
