i remember seeing a thread somewhere, maybe it was on here or another board, it was recent that i saw it but it might have been an old thread, but it told how to go back to square one and reset the timing on a P-7100 pumped truck.

can someone help me find this? i need it for my files

there is a plug on the side of the pump take it out there will be a little plastic notched piece with a steel pin on the other side take that out get a light look in through the port and turn the pump over until the governor foot comes into view make sure it is in the center put the pin back in you can either put the plastic side in and engage the foot or you can put the steel side in and then put your screw your plug back on if you put the plastic side in dont turn the pump over or you will break the plastic and then you will need to get that little piece out that will set your pump back o whateer timing it left the factory with

 

what i am looking for is a thread that had pictures and showed markings on the gears and the timing points ETC. i remember seeing it but i can't remember where.....

 

the only marrks on the gears are an O on the crank and an OO on the cam just line them up thats TDC then do what i said above and blamo pump is set
