heres one for ya, neighbor up the street redid his 12v head and had it o-ringed and then got some 12mm B7 all thread cut it to size for each replacement bolt, used cat flat washers and nuts from cat, and had all the allthread cryoed by a buddy of his at the golf pro shop, so far he has 5k on it since he did it and runs a silver bullet 62 and 370s injectors, what do you guys think, ive been waiting to go pull him home but heck he pulls a trailer almost daily w/it, what do you guys think ? this is a first for me to see it used on an actual engine, see it all over natural gas compressors and some places on the engines but dang.

and what natural gas compressors have allthread as studs? I work for a natural gas compressor station and can tell you they use studs not allthread.

Cheaper is not always the best option and usually ends up with a project being done twice.

 

i guess we'll see how it works out, seems like allthread wouldn't work very well, but way to go for him for using resources
