Default is this possible?

is it possible for a factory fuel plate slid forward for the govenor rod to go under it? the truck kinda seems to have little power down low and when it hits 4th gear it takes off. could it be the trans? it has torque in all gears but acceleration is slow till 4th then it pulls hard. thanks guys in advance... nice to find a forum were people help each other.

upgraded TC should make the lower gears less doggy and blend in the transfer to lock-up valve body too; after that i garuntee you wont be disappointed
