Default 01 ram 3500 heated seat

Wondering if any body could help me? My driverside heated seat does not work, and the guy i had bought the truck off of(my uncle) said he had it rebuilt twice and did not fix it. When you press the button the light just blinks! Anybody know?

This is from the FSM - and should help -

You could also try swapping the seat heater relay in the Power Distribution Center under the hood, but its looks like the element is either open or shorted.

Check this out - you should be able to check continuity of the element:

i cannot find the relays under the hood. there is only one fuse box under the hood?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i removed the drivers seat cushin and pluged it in the passenger side, and it worked fine. Tried swaping the switches in the dash still did not work, light still blinks. looked in the fuse box in the driverside dash, and the one under the hood on the driverside. Does anyone have a copy of the wiring manual? That might help. if there is relays i cant find them.

According to the FSM, the heated seat relay is in the dash fuse compartment immediately above the flasher , (below fuses one and two I believe). Hope this helps.
