Default new truck and some decent mods

Im looking at a 07 5.9 2500 that only has 8,000 miles on it. It has a full banks set up on it...intercooler, power pda, six gun, intake and all. My question is can you hurt this truck with that many mods and not having it broke in at all?
Thanks for the input guys!!

it all depends how hard they run it. I think it better to put the mods on a new truck than a old one. is the truck auto or manual.

Depending on how hard they ran it, check the tranny! Even still I have heard the newer 07 trannys were better than previous, unless that is on the 6.7s only?

I can already tell you, the warranty is voided on it. I'd go look for something else.

What warranty, Dodge is turning down all kinds of warranty for any reason they can find, I just heard from a guys with a 08 with 5000 miles who's PDF filled up on a trip and they blamed it on water in the fuel and it cost him 2800 dollars, they did the same to me when my transfer pump went, said it was fuel contamination, fuel was clean, but there was particles on the pump filter that's stops it from getting in the pump.

If they thought diesel was so clean why did they put a filter on it, and don't diesels run more filters than gas because our fuel isn't the cleanest, but to many stories of warranty's being turned down.

You will have to talk to the dealeer about it. they warrentied mine 100% with the banks kit on it and i melted my piston so i got a whole new long block and i did not even have to pay a deductible. A lot depends on the dealer and what not i would check into it more but i would also get rid of the banks that stuff is not all that it is cracked up to be. I just sold my banks stuff and got an edge juice with attitude on the way.

Do you guys not like the banks because it has too many safe guards? Or does it not make as much power as they claim? Personally, making this kind of investment i would like to have a warrenty even if they cover the little stuff. I want a truck as new as i can get it with the 5.9 because it will be the last truck i buy for ALONG time.

The banks is what partially caused my motor to melt down due to the rail pressure is what they told me and it does not make as much as they claim. My dad had an edge on his 99 with out the hot unlock and i could not even come close to him with my 05 with the banks. Banks is just overpriced and in my opinion not worth it. I have talked to guys with the banks kit and if they aren't pulling they like it but guys that pull alot (like me) are noticing high egts and unfortunatly i know of several that have melted pistons because of it. I called banks when this happened and they told me they would warrenty everything EXCEPT high heat! Does that tell you something? I'm just telling you my experience and several others i have heard of. Thats my .02 and like i said before if it is from a dealer and they sell it to you with the kit on it they should warrenty it.
