Default 95 cummins 4x4 5speed should i buy?

I am going to go look @ a 95 cummins 5speed with 180,000 miles. I am going to most likely trade my 97 auto with 142,000 for it and some money. I Just want to ask you people what you think of the 95 5speed trucks, is there anytihng i should look for in this year truck? whats it worth in fair shape? I know that the trans was rebuilt and its got a new clutch. Just getting some thoughts

it looks like you've put some time and work into your truck getting it the way you want it. Why would you trade for and little bit older truck, after it seems like maybe you just got yours running the way you'd want from your sig. just curious man

OK, I ment that i would be reciving cash and the 95. I do like my truck, but i don't want to get it painted, i really like the 5speeds, and thats really the biggest reason. I want a 5 speed. If i can get the money my trucks worth, or make this trade worth my wile, then i will do it. I was just woundering if theres any issues the 95 trucks have that the 97s don't. Thats all. Thanks guys for the resonses. Tonights the night of the trade so im hopeing the trucks all that this guys saying it is. Im excited to finally own a 5speed cummins!

Glad to hear that your happy...

Just remember...
Stick trucks are as expensive or a tad more now than your slushbox truck to ensure they handle the power.NV parts are not in huge supply and there NO billet parts at all, except for the input shaft, made anymore.
