You need a needle valve or a pressure snubber....I would disconnect the guage until you get one. The pulses from the injector pump are hard on the guage and can damage it in no time.

I would close it...break the line at the fitting, put the line back together. start the truck and slowly open the needle valve until you just get a smooth reading (maybe 1/16 to 1/8 th of a turn).

Ok I would do that first thing in the mourning . Do you think that would stop the clicking noise? . I was using a aluminum adaption to the needle valve that I found at a hose shop it's a reduction from 1/4 to 1/8 and it has some type of little plastic that you pull down and insert the 1/8 guague line and it locks it in do you think I should go back to the compression fitings that came with. Thanks!

No - I dont think thats what the problem is.

When the guage is making noise, is the needle jumping all over the place? If so, you need to close the needle valve more.

Could be a bad guage but I highly doubt that.

Yes it sounds and looks to me that when the needle is flickering it makes the noise because as soon as I start to step on it the needle does not move from 13 psi and noise stops.
