Default bogged down

ok my trucks acceleration is great but if you stay in third and roll up to a stop sign and let the revs get to a lil under 1000 and floor it it acts like you have only got to about 20% throttle but you let off and hit it again it takes off like a bat. it does sometimes in second also. what is causing this??

sounds like ur putting the fire out in a sense. im guessing it will just huff the black smoke out when it does this. its fueling to hard on the bottom end with out any boost. try not just standing on it, and push it bout half way, and ease into it, should do a lil better id say. good luck

it is just a haze, its not blowing a hole lot and if your not paying attention its hard to notice the smoke. is there a way i can get the turbo to spool faster cuz when im hauling horses i try to shift as little as possible and it would help alot if i could get a lil more power down low. dont have gauges or the money for them yet so i dont wanna play with the plate till i get em.

just shift it in to second...if your almost stopped and are trying to get it moving in third that makes no sense to me. Just down shift into second and get on with it...dont mean to be a dick or sound like one but shifting into second aint that hard, and it will be easier on your truck especially the engine and tranny

it sounds kinda like ur getting to much fuel to burn down low before the turbo kicks in.

my auto, if i leave the lock up on in second and start out at 10 and punch it, it will do just like ur describing

maybe if u could get a buddy to get a vid of u doing this, and post it up so we can see what ur meaning or something. sorry i cant help much more here with out seeing what ur talking bout. hope ya figure it out
