the Ac switch that selects from floor to defrost does not feel like it is moving. It is not blowing as hard on ac at me or out the defrost but the blower blows from low to high. Is there anything ishould look for better i rip the dash apart. It is a 2006 mega cab with a 5.9 ctd with 140000 kms on it

 

Sounds like a blend door issue.

 

where abouts is the blend door. When i which it from hot to cold theres a rod that moves in behind the glove box

 

would like to hear more about this. mine seems to switch but agreed when it set to defrost or blow out the vents facing occupants it doesnt seem to blow as hard as it should. especially noticeable on vents towards the doors.

 

Yeah it's the blend door. I just got mine replaced on my '06 as well. Cost me $100 since Dodge knows its a problem and it's covered under your 3/36 or your 5/50 warranties.
