oil

has anyone ever used Kendall motor oil, by conoco philips. i want to try there synthetic blend. supposedly that good for 6k

i was always told never to run synthetic in a diesel... times have changed for sure so maybe it is safe now...

amsoil is the best 25,000 on one oil change a oil filter every 6000 to 10000 miles

I run Shell ROTELLA T 5w-40 SYNTHETIC. I change every 6000 miles.
I ran Amsoil my first oil change. With the price to have it shipped, it
wasn't worth it for me. I buy ROTELLA from WalMart.

With today's oils, you can run any of them for 6K. If you want something to go longer, then synthetic is a good option. I would go with a full synthetic. Blends don't make a lot of sense IMO. Either do or don't.
As mentioned above, amsoil is one synthetic option that can get you 15,000 -25,000 on a change depending on what oil you choose and how you use your truck.
